Ryan and the Boardwalk

Well here we go again another picture blog that we have to write a story about. For the past 2 blogs we had to look at a picture and write a story about it. I wasn’t sure to write about in the past blogs so here goes nothing.  One night a 12 year old boy was sitting in his room when he heard the door slam open and he heard a voice that sounded so familiar. He ran downstairs and he saw a man standing in his navy uniform and he knew right away that it was his father. Ryan ran so fast to him and gave him the biggest hug. He didn’t want to let go of his father. Ryan and his father talked for hours and planned a week full of fun. The one thing he was looking forward to was on Friday him and his father going to the boardwalk and watching the ships go by.  Ryan look forward to this day and his excitement grew each day. Ryan kept reminding his father about them hanging out on Friday. When Friday finally came Ryan got home from school and his father was waiting. As soon as Ryan got home they left and drove to the boardwalk.  On the car ride there Ryan was so excited to see the boats. He just wanted to get there and the minutes felt like hours. Ryan’s father kept telling him that they were close. They finally arrived at the boardwalk and Ryan ran out of the car and sprinted to the boardwalk. He was so happy to be there and knew he would remember this day for the rest of his life. Ryan and his dad talked for hours about life and things that happened. There wasn’t a place where either of them would rather be.
